Jazz Singer/Songwriter Barbara Santora Ends 2020 With A Flurry of Great New Songs!

"meet me down at Micky's"

Jazz singer/songwriter Barbara Santora is back with a flurry of fantastic songs to end 2020 on a great note. "Midnight Escape" harkens to an underground jazz club with Barbara's voice cutting through the smokey haze while pianist John Michael O'Leary tickles the ivory with skill and precision. The percussion and horns are perfect.

Midnight Escape is a blueprint to a timeless Jazz hit song. Barbara also released a gem called "Meet Me Down At Micky's." This song is playful, fun and upbeat. The clarinet is magnificent and the song also has a charming video which can be viewed on You Tube. "On Your List" is the third of four recent releases by Ms. Santora. The tight rhythm section and tasteful lead guitar build a strong foundation for Barbara to sing over. If there's a fan club for Barbara, I want to be on your list! The final song I'd like to bring to your attention is a cover of the classic holiday song, "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas." Barbara and company have taken this standard and made it their own with signature singing, outstanding musicianship and smooth as silk production. You just don't hear singers or songs like this too often these days. If Jazz is your cup of tea, get out your favorite mug and take a listen to Barbara Santora. You will not be disappointed.
