James Forier is a Florida-based original singer/songwriter whose sound ranges from laid-back modern southern/country vibes, to acoustic songs and grooves, to all out hard rock. Soothing soulful vocals and deeply introspective lyrics punctuate his genuine heartfelt music. Forier is clearly a true talent as a writer, vocalist and musician. He seamlessly blends a variety of styles and tempos to create a sound all his own.
Forier's new singles “Cover Your Eyes” and “I’ve Been Here Before” are fantastic songs that show off his diverse skills, warm voice and top notch musical chops.
Another notable song is "Madison" where Forier sings, "In Madison she sleeps with my heart in her hands. In the heavens tonight I’m finally free from the sound of her voice. We’re on the pier by the lake breathing cold September air. The stars were out, the moon was full and our souls were in the air." Descriptive lyrics of that caliber remind me of Springsteen during his Nebraska era. If you're a fan of The Eagles, Tom Petty, John Mayer or Jason Mraz, James Forier should be right up your alley.
